When requesting a breed, please choose more than one specific breed. ie: if you are looking for a small dog, please list several small-breed types you would find acceptable. This applies to age as well. Puppies are seldom in rescue, while 1 to 5 year old dogs are frequently available. Often times, depending on the breed, a 7 or 8 year old dog is still young enough to act like a puppy while old enough to have lost the puppy-problems
